Radiation Calibration Services

The accuracy of a radiation reference field calibration is crucial to ensuring the best possible performance from your irradiator.

Atom Spec provides calibration services for beta, gamma, x-ray, and neutron irradiators in order to comply with the appropriate standard (ANSI N323 AB, ANSI N13.11, ISO 4037, ISO 6980, ISO 8539, and MIL STD 883).

After the measurement data is collected onsite our team analyzes the results and provides a written report of the results. Optional calculators are available for some calibration types that allow the operator to determine the exposure rate (or dose rate) at various distances over the range.

Instruments used in the calibration are traceable to NIST. The calibration certificates for this equipment are provided as part of the final report.
